Looking for Roommate in Wayne

My housemate and I are looking for a roommate. The house is in Wayne, about 5 minutes from both 94 and 275, so you would need a car, but it's cheap ($300 plus 1/3 of utilities). It's about the same amount of time to Detroit or Ann Arbor (20-30 minutes, depending on traffic and how closely you stick to the speed limit). It's a great house: full kitchen plus grill on the back porch, wireless internet, tv/dvd/cable in two rooms, washer & dryer, etc. The neighborhood is really safe and I've never had any problems in the community. My housemate is queer friendly and generally easy-going. I have a cat; housemate would probably put up with one more in the name of lower rent.

Thanks,
Noah

Looking for Roommate

I live in an apartment at Traver Knoll located in the north area (Plymouth rd with Barton rd). Walking distance from North campus and with a bus stop in front of the apartment complex. Apartment has two bedrooms and one will be available by June. I will renew the lease till May 31 2010 but would like a roommate to reduce living costs. I am 37 y/o gay man... latin heritage, finishing a PhD in Chemical Engineering. T-Bone, my dog, live with me... but he is a very friendly Jack Russell and will not play with anything but his toys... he even will not go into your room. Rent cost including all utilities and cable/WiFi will be around $540 for each of us (could be less during winter). For more information, write to angelpr@umich.edu.

Thanks,
Angel

New gender selection for grad student roommate options

Good news, housing added Transgender under their gender selection for their grad student roommate options. It allows folks who wish to identify and/or search for transgendered roommates. This system requires a Kerberos login but does not validate name, phone, or email address- so a person who does not wish to be out to this degree can use an alias on this board if they wish, and create an email address that would not link back to them.
