Spectrum's Website Lead, Sagar, Elected President of LSA Student Government

The Spectrum Center is proud to announce that our Website Development Lead, Sagar Lathia, has been elected President of LSA Student Government. His brother, Bhavik Lathia, is the April Alumni of the month of the Spectrum Center who helped develop the 2011 MBLGTACC conference here at Michigan.

National Black Justice Coalition – Out on the Hill, written by Chloé Gurin-Sands, Community Engagement Coordinator at the Spectrum Center

The first day of the conference, we heard the opening remarks of NBJC Executive Director, Sharon Lettman-Hicks and OOTH National Chair (and ESPN/CNN journalist) LZ Granderson. We then heard from a panel of political activists and government employees about several legislative issues that are currently in the works.
