  • A2 Connection
    • This group is for lesbians in Ann Arbor that would like to start networking outside of the bar scene (no offense to Aut Bar). All are welcome. The idea is to create a place where we can meet new people! This is not a forum for dating or selling things. We hope A2 Connection will be a hub for the Lesbian social 'scene' in Ann Arbor. It's up to us to do it!
  • Bisexual Peer Group
    • Meets on the first Friday of each month from 7-9 pm at the Jim Toy Community Center in Braun Court, Ann Arbor. For more information visit our Google Group.
  • Canterbury House
    • Canterbury House is a student organization and ministry of the Episcopal Church at the University of Michigan and is a progressive alternative for Christians and all spiritual seekers.  We are devoted to the spiritual growth of our members through open, respectful dialogue and by integrating the intellectual, spiritual, emotional and socially responsible dimensions of life and culture.  We desire to find God without twisting arms or sacrificing reason and we openly welcome people of every religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, background and creed.  Plus we have the best music on campus!  Join us during the academic year on Sunday evenings at 5 p.m. for the Jazz Mass and at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings for Evening Prayer.  Free supper follows each service.  
  • COLAGE - Ann Arbor
    • The mission of COLAGE is to engage, connect, and empower people to make the world a better place for children of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender parents and families.
  • Fosturing Futures- Ann Arbor 
    • Fostering Futures welcomes all families and individuals to the agency. We celebrate diverse backgrounds including people of all: races, ages, ethnic backgrounds, marital status, disabilities, religious affiliations, sexual orientations, gender identity or gender expressions. Fostering Futures is a non-profit, child placing agency founded on a strong commitment to providing the best services to children and families in the foster care system. Fostering Futures will provide safe haven for all that receive services or employment under the auspice of its name. Fostering Futures is based on the foundation of sound clinical practice and a goal to meet the therapeutic needs of children and their families with a systemic and psychotherapeutic approach to treatment. We are an adoption and foster care agency.

    • The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.
  • Hands Across the Water
    • Recognized as a Leader in Supporting and Serving LGBTQ Youth and Families by the Human Rights Campaign, Hands Across the Water proudly provides non-discriminatory adoption and foster care services to families in Southeast Michigan. HATW follows a non-discrimination practice and does not establish our screening criteria based on race, creed, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or natural origin.
    • Jewish Cultural Society
      • The Jewish Cultural Society is associated with the Congress of Secular Jewish Organizations and functions as the Secular Humanistic Jewish congregation in Ann Arbor. The JCS comes together for regular Shabbat and holiday observances as well as life cycle events. Our community is comprised of individuals and family groups of many backgrounds and we value our diversity. The JCS welcomes all individuals and families who wish to deepen their connection to Jewish culture, ethics and history regardless of their racial, cultural or sexual orientation.
    • Jim Toy Community Center
      • The Jim Toy Community Center (JTCC) (The Toy Box) is a resource for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and allied residents of Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and greater Washtenaw County. We envision an inclusive community where people of diverse sexual orientation and gender identity are visible and live together in equality, respect and happiness.
    • Lambda Music Network
      • This is a network of lgbt musicians. All levels and instruments (including the singing voice) are welcome. The purposes of the network are to enable musicians to network and form ensembles, both small and large, and to have at least one benefit concert per year for one of the fine organizations in our lgbt community, such as the LGBT Office, PFLAG, Triangle Foundation, etc. Please contact Brandy Sinco at 930.0646
    • Lesbian Moms' Network
      • We are Lesbian Moms who are interested in networking within our local community of Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County in the state of Michigan. We want to share information, resources and advice. We want our children to know other families like their own. So far, we are over 250 local families strong.
    • LGBT Addiction Recovery Group
      • Chelsea Arbor Addiction Treatment Center has a weekly early recovery group that is primarily composed of LGBT people. Several staff members are LGBT and the rest are supportive of LGBT rights and issues. If you want help for alcohol or drug addiction in a supportive environment, contact us.     • LGBT Outreach Ministry
      • St. Mary's LGBT Ministry is a spirituality group for LGBT Catholics and their allies. The ministry helps Catholics grow in their spirituality within the context of their individual identities through discussion, faith sharing and fellowship in a positive and affirming environment. LGBT and allies are welcome!     • Lord of Light Lutheran Campus Ministry
      • Lord of Light Church is the home of Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Michigan.  We believe that people of all sexual orientations and gender identities are unique, sacred individuals created in the image of God who are welcome to participate fully in the life, ministries and leadership of this community.  We provide a safe and welcoming place to explore your faith, meet fellow students, participate in projects to improve our world, relax and have some fun.
    • Metro Detroit Softball League
      • We have about 400 people of all LGBT walks of life, including several people from the Ann Arbor-Ypsi area, that participate each year. We welcome all skill levels: We have former collegiate athletes as well as people who have never played before.
        This is a special year for us as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the league and we host a major tournament Labor Day weekend that brings people in from all over the country and Canada. Our schedule of events is posted with all of our events.
    • Out Loud Chorus
      • As a member of the Out Loud chorus you will enjoy the wonderful world of music. We are an LGBT and friends choral group that has been performing for more than a decade. Our performances have entertained, educated and enlightened guests both locally, nationally and even in Canada. Do you want to have fun and sing? Join the Out Loud chorus and celebrate your passion for music. We are looking for singers, set designers, musicians and behind-the-scenes volunteers.     • Parents Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) - Ann Arbor
      • PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons, their families and friends. 734 741-0659.
    • Post Adoption Resource Center- Judson Center
      • The Post Adoption Resource Center at Judson Center provides a support group every Thursday of each month at our Washtenaw office in Ann Arbor. We invite families who have adopted the opportunity to share their challenges, ideas and support and in exchange be supported by others! We provide dinner and child care. RSVP to Jennifer Pedley.     • Queerzone - Presented by Ozone House Youth Drop-In Center
      • Queerzone is an Ypsilanti-based program that provides a safe space for LGBTQ youth to congregate, socialize, build community and access support services as needed. 
    • Rainbow Crossing
      • Rainbow Crossing is a growing ministry dedicated to ensuring that all persons can be full, dynamic members of their faith in our church. This group was established expressly to be a supportive community for persons who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or allies (LGBTQ). We also welcome those who are questioning or intersex. Rainbow Crossing meets on the 4th Sunday of each month at 3:30 PM in the Asbury Room at the Downtown site of the First United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor (120 South State St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104). We always have refreshments!
    • Rainbow Revolution Bowling League

    • Riot Youth - The Neutral Zone, Ann Arbor's Teen Center
      • Our aim is to create and sustain youth-run safe space for queer and queer-friendly youth and youth activists. We want to educate and talk within the group while also supporting a variety of activist and outreach projects.
    • Ruth Ellis Center
      • The Ruth Ellis Center is one of only 4 social service agencies in the nation dedicated to helping LGBT teens and young adults who are experiencing homelessness.
    • SafeHouse Center
      • A non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault in Washtenaw County, Michigan.
    • Saint Mary's Lesbian and Gay Outreach Ministry
      • Meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9pm at St Mary Student Parish at 331 Thompson on the corner of Thompson & William Sts. We have a very affirming ministry. We teach that all love comes from God and we focus on helping gay Catholics reconcile their faith with their orientation. The meetings provide a safe space for discussion, healing and prayer.
