GPS is a tool for LGBTQ and similarly-identified students to use as they are navigating their way into a comfortable identity. The GPS Program provides students with Guidance to helpful information and resources, Perspective of a fellow student who has experience with coming out, and Support for coming out.
GPS is best suited for students who:
- are confused about their identity
- are thinking about coming-out, but are not sure how
- have come out to some people and want to come out to more
- have already come out to most people in their lives and want to talk about the reactions of the people they came out to and how those reactions are affecting them
