Testing Available on Campus

  • Spectrum Center's On-Campus HIV, Chlamyida & Gonorrhea Testing (facilitated by Unified) -
    • Services: confidential rapid HIV, chlamydia & gonorrhea testing
    • Location: Spectrum Center, Michigan Union, 3rd floor, suite 3020
    • Time: Mondays 5:00-7:00 PM throughout the Fall and Winter Semesters (September through April, except during university breaks)
      • Drop-in testing, no appointment necessary
    • Free condoms, dental dams, and lube available

PrEP & PEP

  • PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is approved for sexually active adults who are at ongoing high risk of HIV infection. It consists of a pill called Truvada® that is taken every day.

  • PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is the use of medications after a single high-risk event, e.g. needlestick or unprotected sex with an HIV+ partner. It is intended to stop HIV from replicating and spreading throughout the body.
