"What it's Like to Be Yourself at U of M" is the Video Team's new video series focused on various intersections of identity and experiences at the University. Each video in the series will be different, engaging, exciticiting, and thought-provoking. The first two episodes of the series are already on YouTube. The series will officially premier at our Winter Open House in January. Interviewees answered questions about:
- Groups on campus
- Religion
- Race and Ethnicity
- Gender Identity
- Coming out experiences
- Comparing campus climate with home environment
- Differences between high school and college
- Resources available at U of M
- and more!
The Video Team is a student-volunteer team through the Spectrum Center, and they will be adding more videos as the year continues. Watch for more posts next semester and for the details on our Winter Open House!
