“Do the work when nobody’s looking"—Freeman delivers keynote at Univ. of North Dakota conference

Angie Freeman, Spectrum Center's program manager for events and partnerships, delivered a keynote at "Queer Resilience: Breaking Boundaries," a day-long conference on October 10, 2023 at the University of North Dakota. The conference focused on LGBTQ+ issues in higher education. In their remarks, Freeman challenged attendees to expand their understanding and practice of allyship, according to UND Today. “Do the work when nobody’s looking,” Freeman said. “Don’t post about it, don’t share it; do the work like nobody is looking. I’m asking you to commit to your actions.”
