Four staff have been newly designated as confidential resources for students at U-M—a move leaders hope will encourage more to seek help and promote a supportive campus.
Our goal is to ensure students have the support they need to thrive on campus.
Spectrum Center provides a variety of support services for the U-M community. We also provide referrals to resources outside of the center.
Funding
Spectrum Center administers several routine funding opportunities—project grants for individuals and recognized student organizations, essential needs grants, and scholarships named in honor of Chris Armstrong and John D. Evans.
Supporting students experiencing hardship related to gender and/or sexuality.
The Chris Armstrong Scholarship and John D. Evans Scholarship.
Helping fuel projects by individuals and groups to make campus a better place.
Personal well-being and growth
Mental/emotional wellness, physical wellness, and sexual wellness.
Community and social opportunities for first-year and transfer students.
Get tested at Spectrum Center, visit UHC and Wolverine Wellness, or find another provider.
