Spectrum Center is delighted to share an exciting lineup of March and April programming at the University of Michigan in honor and celebration of U-M Pride Month. The month is co-presented by the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs, Rackham Graduate School, and College of Engineering's Office of Culture, Community, and Equity.

Pride Month is a time dedicated to celebrating and commemorating lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender, queer, asexual, intersex, and two-spirit people and communities. Recognized nationally in June, U-M celebrates Pride in April, when most students are on campus.

Campus groups and units will be hosting artists, speakers, an acclaimed poet, workshops, a big dance, and community gatherings bringing folks together around shared experiences. The month is kicked off with a queer art show, keynote by Hieu Minh Nguyen, clothing closet, and name change clinic. Pride Prom and Lavender Graduation return as Pride Month staples, and Spectrum's education and training team will be offering a special Pronouns 101 workshop for U-M students, staff, and faculty.

We hope you will join us for these special events happening at the University of Michigan this April. Please visit our U-M Pride Month portal for an up-to-date listing of these events and links to their full details and registrations (where required).
